Yes, I would. I have gone into debt for things I would consider less important than having children. The thing about debt is that you can climb your way out of it. But I would be so unhappy if I never had the opportunity to raise a family.
Same here ... $30K is the price of a new car ... I'd rather drive a piece of junk and have a beautiful bay in my arms.

Wow! I had no idea adoption was so expensive! I guess if I had the means and I had no children I would adopt and figure the finances out later.

See if you go into Fostercare then adopt they take your fingerprints for nothing. DH and I had it done two weeks ago.
Goodness, you can go to a police station and get fingerprinted for about $15.

You cannot use the Police fingerprints for foreign adoption. The agency requires the Federal Gov't ones- I have no clue what the difference is though, except for a few hundred bucks.
