my FH proposed this question to me.. i guess he is trying to see where my heart is...

my answer is NO NO NO NO !!
i live with my parents for 25yrs of my life ... im soo good!!
i guess explain to him that i dont want any potential problems etc etc

he didnt take my answer so well...

i would let her live with us if it was really a money issue for her and only if it was short term.

We actually lived with FH's mom for 6mths and it didn't work out. She is a sweetheart but FH hated it and it was making our relationship fall apart. So we had to move out

I hear that!!

HALO's Lesson for the day::::: so unless we are going thru a financial hardship or taking care of parent.....this situation potentially put a strain in our relationship as a married couple

I heard many say ' Ooo his mother is great' etc etc .. Bump that ! the minute you become husband and wife or start having a few kids.. then we'll really TRULY see if he/she is soo great for real...okay we are all engaged! but some of us are in for a rude awakening if you havent experience yours already... true colors sometimes dont show until the latter...
and by the responses from some, it didnt take that long.... So i guess in sum, my answer remains as it did this morning

NO NO NO.... NO NO NO ... ooo wait did i forget? NO !! haha

we actually live in a 3 family home with FHs parents. I dont mind it at all. its been a good experience and has helped me feel like one of the family. Im always upstairs visiting with them. I dont know why everyone is SO against this! I have found it to be a good experience.
Also- I DO have to admit privacy is scarce.... but we dont plan on living here for long so its ok!

however we have an apartment in my parents house we plan to live in after the wedding to save money for a house.

i loooove my FIL's and have no problems with them what so ever (knock on wood!) but i dont think i could live with them.
plus what newlywed doesnt what it to be just the two of them, ya know......

i lived with my fmil for a little over 4years!!!

we had the basement but we had to share the kitchen.

i'll be honest with you, it wasnt bad at all.
i guess it depends on the type of relationship you have with them. fmil and i get along really great. i talk to her more than fh does.

now if you asked me if i would have fh live with my mom. i would say HELL NO!!!!

my mom is nothing like fmil. you couldnt pay me to live with my mom

My fiance and I live in his mom and dad's house. We live in the basement with our own bathroom. We share the kitchen. I love his dad. His mom is alittle too much for me sometimes. I tell my fh everyday we need to move out.
