Would you live with your FH's mom????

i lived with my fmil for a little over 4years!!!

we had the basement but we had to share the kitchen.

i'll be honest with you, it wasnt bad at all.
i guess it depends on the type of relationship you have with them. fmil and i get along really great. i talk to her more than fh does.

now if you asked me if i would have fh live with my mom. i would say HELL NO!!!!

my mom is nothing like fmil. you couldnt pay me to live with my mom

We rent an apartment in FIL's home. I lived there for 2 yrs b/f we got engaged. To be honest those 2 yrs were great, respected our space, etc. In the last few months, its been a different story. Recently she has complained to FH that I dont come down & visit her when I come home from work.
She is increasingly getting more needy and invasive but I honestly think she is freaking that her 'baby boy' is getting married and moving out. I'm trying to be kind and patient but am def running out of steam!!!!
So to answer your ques....NEGATIVE!!! Once we are out, we are out and FMIL & FFIL can go about their own business!!! The only way either set of parents are living w/us is if its time for a nursing home (which we would never do to them).

I have the same issue. FMIL complains that all i do is stay upstairs. Well when i come home im tired at times and dont feel like having a long drawn out conversation. All i want to do is change my clothes, wash my make up off and get my glass of wine and relax. I also feel like she has an opinion about EVERYTHING....what i wear, how i comb my hair, how i dress my son, if i am wearing slippers or not. I'm trying to be respectful since she is allowing us to live in her house with our children but DAMN WHERE DOES IT STOP.

When we move out i dont think i will have much to say to her

Ok so our FMIL's were seperated @ birth?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Maybe we should introduce them to each other and then **MAYBE** they would leave us alone!!!!!! Oh wait, my FAVORITE!!!!!! Is now she will hear me come in the front door wait 5 min for me to go upstairs and shut my door. Then she comes knocks on the door and stands there asking how my day went and makes it VERY obvious that she wants to come in & chat. Meanwhile I am hiding behind the door b/c I was in the process of getting changed into my comfy clothes!!!!! GGGRGRGGRGRGGRRGGRRRRRRRRRR SERIOUSLY!?!?!?!?!?!!?

OMG my FMIL too...its like she has a GPS on me! I come in and take my jacket off before I can hang it up shes ringing the bell. She doesnt want anything and has nothing to say so she stands around looking at eveything and has something to SAY abt it. I cant buy anything without her noticing! FH told her husband to keep her downstairs, he told her and she came upstairs to ask FH if he told her husband that she needs to stay downstairs... My reaction is w*t*f. Why would you come up if YOUR HUSBAND told you NOT TO!

The worst is Saturday mornings...were super comfy, Im wearing little or nothing and she has me doing a mad dash to get dressed and open the door. (I open the door bcuz I fear she will use the 'emegency' Key...ugh! )

NO WAY...NEVER....NEVER...NEVER...NEVER...(stamping my foot over and over)

NO WAY! I rather live with my mother than his mother (that is probably how everyone feels) but you need to embark on your own life!
