can seat 10, but there's just you and 6 other guests of SOMEWHAT close acquaintence, or sit at a table with people you know a lot better but be the 11th person 'squeezed in.

i'd rather sit at the table where i had more space. but that's me personally... it's just for eating dinner. maybe ask the person(s) what they'd prefer...

Thanks for all your input girls. I finally decided to just make a phone call and as a result, I will not have one single table with 11 or 12 people. Yay! The last table will only have 7 people; there will be plenty of room, and besides, like someone said, everyone gets up and mingles anyway. The tables are basically to eat at.

I hate going to a wedding and being so uncomfortable. I would go with smaller # of people at the table. Everyone gets up dances and mingles anyway.

Me too. I hate having to keep my elbows glued to my sides when eating.

At weddings I spend 90% of my time on the dance floor anyway

11th person squeeze in. I always felt uncomfortable when I was separated from people I knew at weddings, because I was younger or single.

I would rather sit at a bigger table. I know very few people who just sit the whole wedding. You would be up and dancing anyway. Maybe even make a new friend?
