An invite is always nice. I wouldn't be pissed cause I am home sick. Actually, I would be pissed because then he wouldn't be home taking care of me. Anyway, I am always pissed if I don't get an invite when he goes out.

so if he goes out with his friends (just guys) you get pissed?

Sometimes. That happens often enough that I do get upset, just at the amount of weekend nights with the guys (all of his close friends are still single). If it was an occasional thing, which this St Pat's thing appears to be, I wouldn't care. I'm sick and not making much sense.

Do you work anywhere by him? Usually when people go out for work... they want to go out with co-workers.

Maybe nobody invited SO's out. If thats the case... you shouldn't be pissed.

Be pissed if everyone is bringing their wife/FI. But don't be pissed otherwise.

I agree. If SO's were invited, and Fh didnt ask me, it would bother me.

It sounds like you want him to spend more time with you in general. I would tell him that, and ask for your own time with him, apart from the coworkers. Besides, you can't do any fun stuff with coworkers around anyway.

and DJ, settle down. i dont know if its just the way i read it, but your words come off like an attack.

i just came here to vent a bit, not justify my feelins to a man who has probably dealt with the woman you are accusing me of being!

LOL... if you want to just 'vent'... here's a hint... DON'T ask for an opinion!

My words come off as somebody that answered your question. Maybe you think its an 'attack' cause I refuse to agree with you.

God... i hate it when people come onto the board... post a question... and cannot take an honest response and give the old 'oh i just wanted to vent' response.

So f'in typical of this site.

Dani seriously ignore him. He gets off on stir up crap and not allowing anyone else to say their piece with out his idiotic statements.

You are entitled to feel how ever you want!!!

I understand how you feel. You would rather for him to spend time with you since you don't since each other much.
Try to do something that's going to make you feel better and if it bothers you so much, talk to your husband.

Idiodic comments? My god if I didn't know better... i'd almost take that as an 'attack'.

A weak one... but an attack. Hahah.

with no offense to the good guys...mabe this is why this site is meant for women. we understand each other better. believe it or not dear, people do post questions and look for people to agree with them sometimes. its called venting/support. and if youre going to disagree, theres no reason to put it in an obnoxious, nasty way. it really seems that you are virtually fighting with some exes here.

and i know, its a public forum, blah blah blah...take it for whats it worth. i hope this is not how you are with FH when you two disagree.

Yeah but you see... my responses in this thread are not 'obnoxious'. They are just true to the point.

Some people unfortunately just can't handle that. But thats ok. But if someone clearly says they are 'venting' in the thread title or in the OP... or they DON'T ask for advice.. i stay clear.... always

Anyways... i'll leave you to your venting now with the girls. I am heading over to the bar to DJ and get a little shytty. Maybe i'll bump into your hubby there.

Cheers.

ETA the more I think about it the less I feel I would care because even when we are married our jobs are not near each other . . . It would be nice to receive an invite if it were at a time we would normally be together, but I don't think I would be mad . . .

I am answering this as if we were still dating.....If it is a night that I would normally see him, and he has made other plans without talking to me, yes I would be hurt. If it is during the week, when I don't usually see him, then no, it wouldn't bother me at all.

Now that I am married, if he wanted to go out without me to do stuff with coworkers? I would say 'Have fun!' I have no interest in hanging out with my own co-workers, I definitely don't want to hang out with his.
