I'm sorry. I know how family can be...hopefully in time you guys can patch things up.
I had a blow out with my Sister a few years ago and we did not speak for 3 yrs. I missed out on important events in my nephews lives. It has taken years to catch up and things are not the same.
I don't know your personal life so I can't offer much advice, sometimes things happen for the best,
and sometimes you have to fight to keep your family together.

w t fff that is a horrible thing to say. i dont understand how parents can treat their child like this. I really think you should go there and try to talk to your parents one more time...if not, maybe it's time to give them some space and move on with your life. You do not deserve this stress at all. Family shouldnt treat each other like this. Im so sorry....

i buckled, did the 'yes sir, no sir, sorry sir' and closed my phone. i had it away from my ear at a certain point.

After the wedding, Fh and I are moving anyway, and far, enough that they won't influence my kids (my dad made it quite clear that he will remember all of this when i call to complain when my kids tell me to 'scratch off). I seriously do not know where my dad comes up with his vocabulary, scratch off was his way of saying ef you.

i would go into more of what was said, because at a certain point i was sort of laughing at how high they think they are to every body in my entire extended family.
