Wow - shocked by the tackiness...

Ok, so remember a few weeks ago I told you how I wasn't invited to the rehearsal dinner of FH's friends' wedding (even though he was and he isn't a GM)?

So today I get an after-wedding brunch invitation ONLY addressed to my FH.

ANDDDDDDDDD the response card doesn't even have a stamp on it.

Are these people SERIOUS!? I'm guessing I'm not even invited to the wedding.

I'm shocked at the tackiness.

How do you NOT invite someone with their FIANCE. It's not like FH's friend doesn't know we're engaged....or doesn't know ME! We've hung out - we were engaged before they were - there's no excuse. I'm blown away.

Wow.

ETA: I sent the response card with BOTH of our names, saying we will not attend. If I'm not invited to the wedding, which I'm guessing I am not...we're not going. FH thinks its ridiculous too.

That is the most absurd thing I've ever heard... how do you not invite someone and their fiance?!?!?!

people are unbelievable!

before my fh and i were engaged something like this happened to us. he was in a friend's wedding party (he was friends with her and a groomsman)- well she told him that I wasnt invited to the wedding- since we werent engaged or married. It created soo much tension- because she was one of fh's best friends but we had been dating for 2 years-

i am so tempted to invite her to our wedding and not her husband (just kidding- sort of lol)

I mean, its not like this couple can't afford to invite guests. They live on Park Avenue, and are getting married at the Mandarin Oriental. I'm not saying that money = invite everyone and their brother....but not inviting someone's fiance?!?!?! Give me a break!!!!!

I'm probably not invited if I'm not invited to the day-after brunch, right???

I can't wait to get their invitation.

That's so insane... but what's strange to me as well.. you got a RD invite AND a day-after-brunch invite but no wedding invite yet?!?

Yeah, good call on writing both name and declining!

I already told FH that if Im not invited they are not getting invited to our wedding. Petty, yes. But since they apparently have no class, I have no shame in having none either.

That is ridiculous! Good for you! If FH was invited to something and i'm not then they'll get a nice 'zero attending'. I don't know if they are just being cheap or what.

'FH name and his fiance, Bonnie XXX' - will not attend.

I held back and just put both of our names.

You should invite them to the wedding...I would like to see if they even have the audacity to accept the invitations after that embarassing display they pulled...
