Wow - shocked by the tackiness...

Ok, so remember a few weeks ago I told you how I wasn't invited to the rehearsal dinner of FH's friends' wedding (even though he was and he isn't a GM)?

So today I get an after-wedding brunch invitation ONLY addressed to my FH.

ANDDDDDDDDD the response card doesn't even have a stamp on it.

Are these people SERIOUS!? I'm guessing I'm not even invited to the wedding.

I'm shocked at the tackiness.

How do you NOT invite someone with their FIANCE. It's not like FH's friend doesn't know we're engaged....or doesn't know ME! We've hung out - we were engaged before they were - there's no excuse. I'm blown away.

Wow.

ETA: I sent the response card with BOTH of our names, saying we will not attend. If I'm not invited to the wedding, which I'm guessing I am not...we're not going. FH thinks its ridiculous too.

I would be so pissed....I would probably RSVP yes and just not go...lol

ooooh. evil. mUWAHHAHA. Especially since they're probably playing like $500 a plate.

ugh people are so ridiculous...but at the same time...what i would've done is just sent the RSVP back NO for your fiance. Remember how rude we all think it is when people RSVP with a guest that wasn't invited...i know it technically doesn't matter and you're doing it to get a point across...but who knows what their budget is or if an IL over invited.....haha
I couldn't bring my DF (bf at the time) to my own cousins wedding (neither could my sister) and my brother was in the party!!! (we all grew up very close!) all bc my stupid aunt over invited by 50 couples..not people...COUPLES.

That is so rude! See what happens for the wedding invite now that you put YOUR name on the regret rsvp! If they don't get the hint- they really have problems.

You should have your FH say something. Especially since you have hung out with them and all- THEY KNOW YOU!
