Just one thing though, since when do BMs serve the cake??? Also, whatever the story is, it seems a little bridezilla-y to demand that your BMs wait on you hand and foot...you're the bride, not a princess, they aren't your ladies in waiting. If she were the MOH...that's one thing. But I figure once you get to the reception its mostly time for the BMs to kick back and have fun, no?

Around here, Im from pa, the girls serve the cake and stuff at the reception....I dont know, tradition I guess....haha. We went over all this beforehand but its hard to go over this stuff when they arent there. And it definitly was time to have fun. I didnt want anyone to wait on me hand and foot?, just to be there for me. It suuckked. And still does....

Pass me some of that popcorn!!

I may be the odd one here but besides the cake thing (I guess everywhere has different traditions, I have never heard of this but whatever) I have seen many girls on here pissed that their BM(s) did not seem that interested or where not asking every week what was going on with the wedding. I think this girl has a valid point if you lost the info for the rehersal than why not contact another BM (the bride is usually really busy and stressed at that time)

I am sure if this was most of you, you too would be peeved as well.

In anycase... why harp on cake serving. Big deal... that's ONE thing she asked her BM's to do at the wedding. Geez some people ask their whole BP to dance to thriller. I'd be embarrased to do that. (I know some people love it.. more power to em.. I'd be embarrased).

I think when it's EVERYTHING all added together.... it's really a lot. the rehearsal? lost the invite? admitting to skipping out early bc the bride didn't talk to you enough?

Sorry.. but glad you aren't in my wedding party.

That's kinda mean We don't know these girls so we can't judge who was wrong. We are hearing two stories from two totally different people. If her town in PA has a certain tradition though then just go with it. Idk I can't really judge either way. It's just interesting to see this bc I would have handled it differently from the start and would've spoken to the other person directly instead of on a public forum. It's not high school.

K. My turn. First off, you're wedding s*cked. i'm glad i didn't help with anything because then I would have had to take credit for all of your shittyyy homemade decorations. it was the most unorganized event i have ever been to in my life

and you say we could do our hair and make up anyway?! pretty sure we had to go to the same place as YOU... i had get pictures approved by you, and i had to spend more money than necessary to get a shittyyy updo done. and makeup? pretty sure you made it clear that we had to have green eye shadow. and green nails. Then the day of you were going to try to get us to go out and by matching shoes..however, i made a big deal because i had just bought a new pair 2 days before for your wedding..

and its not like i just LOST your invite..i was FUKING MOVING!!!! for all i know, Jeff packed the damnn thing away! not me. cry about it some more. you knew a month before your wedding that i didnt have my invite because i told you i couldnt RSVP. therefore, you knew i didnt have the rehearsal information. you didnt care about it then..you said you'd get it to me..but you didnt..so 4 days before the wedding I had to mention it to you...then you decided to turn psycho on me.

i was so close to NOT showing up for your wedding..i had people telling me not too...now, i wish i would have listened.
