...(i feel like i would be more upset that the jewelry store puts the amount on the receipt like that. isn't it kind of unnecessary??)

The jewelry store puts an appraisal on it just in case it gets damaged while they're working on it. I've decided to put this whole situation out of sight and out of mind. I'm way too excited and happy about my upcoming wedding to let some low life make me bitter and angry. I'm a huge believer in Karma and I won't let this A**hole rain on my parade. I just look at my ring and smile.
