WW Brides...

Original post by DonnaMarie7

How is everyone doing? I weighed in on Saturday and was down 1.2 Was hoping for more, but considering the week I had and that it was almost that time of the month, I guess it was pretty good.

Eating is 1/2 the battle-- I have a nearly 2 hr commute everyday so by the time I get home, I have 0 energy to get on my ellipitcal lol.
=)

This!!!

I commute 2hrs a day too and I also have an elliptical at home I find I have no motivation by the time I get home. I get frustrated at myself that I have something RIGHT UPSTAIRS and I can't just do it. I'm learning slowly how to get better at this.

I have been having trouble focusing on WW points lately and finding it harder to get to a meeting once a week. I think I might cancel to save myself some dough. FH is following a diet and has lost 8lbs so far, so I might just start following the same plan and asking him to yell at me everyday till i get on that elliptical. haha

For those you are finding success, great job!!! I hope I find my motivation soon! I'd like to make some significant progress by the time I go dress shopping at the end of May!

Re: WW Brides...

i lost 10lbs in January and then my grandma passed away and I wasnt doing so well.. and then I went on vacation last week and even though my FH and I swore we were staying on our diet, we were done by day 3.

i've gained back most of it so im using the good news on here to get me motivated and im trying to get back on track... now just gotta get through my bday dinner and the FH's 30th on Sat.. ugh!

Re: WW Brides...

I'm not doing WW, but I am watching my weight now. I have gotten to a point where I just can't take it anymore. So, last week I started counting calories and making an effort to go to the gym. I was slacking, but I still lost 1 pound. My goal is 1 lb per week so that I reach my goal by August 1st. If I lose it a little sooner, than that is just a bonus!

I've been eating:
Kashi Go Lean Crunch!
Jello Fat Free Pudding
Kelloggs Chocolately Pretzel/Vanilla Crisp
Drinking water/tea
Eatings wraps/salads
And trying to just watch what I eat for dinner and keep it to a minimum...

My weight usually comes off quickly this way. 1 lb a week with minimal exercise and 2 lbs a week if I go hardcore with the treadmill (hardcore= 2-2.5 miles in 20-25 minutes)

Re: WW Brides...

I am fairly new to this forum, but is the 'WW Brides' email a reoccuring topic? like weekly? I think it would be great if we could motivate eachother.

I wouldn't mind keeping the thread ongoing and we could use it for accountability. I know I used to do that on the WW boards and it really helped. Seeing how well others were doing inspired me to keep up the healthy eating and exercising.

Anyone else in? We could even make it weekly and report the week if thats preferable.

I was very proud of myself last night!! I had caesar salad, roasted chicken and baked asparagus for dinner. YUM! And I went on my elliptical for 20 min!! I'm going to try and keep this up the rest of the week and see how it goes!!

I just joined a 7 week boot camp style program last night. We start March 7. Its 7 weeks of training, 3 sessions a week plus use of their gym and nutritional coaching. I think its just what I need to get my a@@ in gear!! I'm excited (which is funny since I think I'm going to have my butt handed to me!!)
