I had grits, which if someone tells me isn't core, I might cry.

Well I worked out hard-core this week, only to gain 2 pounds- so I'm struggling.

Oh no!
I could give the usual 'did you eat all your points' crud, but I'll spare you.
Maybe you're retaining water or something? It is so frustrating those weeks when you try really hard and it doesn't pay off

as of right now i'm 4 points over my 35 pts, but i figure last week i was WAY over and still lost. i'm not feeling as hopeful this week though, even though i'm eating much better, and have earned a few activity points. i told you i weigh myself every morning, and i'm still the same weight as i was last saturday. but aunt flo is also in town, so that could be contributing. i think i may do flex next week, but i feel like i get to eat a LOT more on core.

Before you lose faith in what you did this week you need to realize something which i struggled with. When you work out especially more than usual, your body retains water. It's supposed to. Thats why after a week or two of hardcore working out it is important to take your measurements because even though you gained weight you probably lost inches.
As for me, many of you know i was an avid weight watcher. I decided on my honeymoon that i would continue striving for goal even though i didnt reach it before the wedding. I just got back of my honeymoon with an extra 7 lbs so i will be returning next saturday. It would be this saturday but i am getting AF and really do not want to have my first weigh in back with even more weight although by next week ill probably lose like 5 lbs due to AF. haha GL ladies!!

Before you flip flop back and forth try this for a week....eat only core foods but count your points. Example: if you're allowed 22 pts a day on flex, eat only that amount of points of core foods. You will most likely see a big drop on the scale.

MB - thats def why! Its just water weight, I would not worry at all.
I'm sure you'll see a big loss next week.
Tina - I'm a couple points over my 35 also but I have lots of activity points so I think I'm okay.
