Okay all those on WW.....I am making plans to start attending meetings this week!!!
I am just in search of meeting place that is convenient location wise and time wise.....

Ummm 5 pounds is a lot to lose in one week. Especially for someone who has less to lose. I'd shoot for 1 if I were you. Believe me, the slower the better.
Best of luck with it, I have yet to meet anyone who hasn't had success on the plan...

I live in Hempstead....I hear there are meetings in Franklin Square and in West Hempsted, but I think they are more frequent in Franklin Square..

There's a leader in Franklin Square....Rose, she does Monday nights.....she's great. Also Diana, does Saturdays....she's also wonderful. If you go, tell them I sent you
If you want to come to Lynbrook, my leader, Barbara, does Saturdays at 12 and 1:30. I go to the 1:30 meeting as a member myself. I'd recommend my meeting in Lynbrook (the one I lead), but they're closing it after this week
