I lost 1.4 this week!
13.4 lbs lost total!
It has taken me 4 months to loose that but who cares!

Woo Hoo Stace!!! You are doing awesome!!

I didn't go to my meeting two weeks ago coz I knew I hadn't kept track and I was so stressed about if I was getting my new job. Definitely a couple of challenging weeks. So last week I faced the music, I had gained 2 pounds. So I made sure I kept track of everything I ate and I lost this week 3.2 pounds. So far I have lost 11.6 pounds!!

I had done weight watchers before and usually when I lost about 10 pounds I thought I could do it on my own, and would drop out. I do have to say that my meetings have what have kept me going. it provides great motivation!!!

Re: WW Support Thread

I have a question. I am on day #2 of WW online and I exercised today for 3 exercise points but it didn't swap out, why not? Do I have to do something to get them to swap instead of coming out of the bank of 35?

Did you use all of your daily target points??? It won't swap until you use them first. If you did, and it's taking from your weeklies first, try logging out and logging back in. In the long run, it doesn't make a difference now anyway because The 35 last you the week, and AP's also last for the week (now).

Congrats on the 15.6!!!!! That's great. So what if you don't have a loss tomorrow? You're not going to have one every week. Besides, if you know you had a heavy dinner tonight, then you'll know why. What matters is that you've lost over 15 pounds!!!!! Doesn't it feel awesome??????

Hey girls... I need suggestions... I am going to book my RD on Saturday. It is at an italian restaurant. What can I eat? I have all my extra points left and i get a lot of points during the day. I need some advice!

Thanks Laura :) Yesterday I used the correct amount of points. Today I went over by three and I made sure that I did three points worth of exercise to try to even it out but I was curious as to why it didn't 'swap' them.

My other question is am I supposed to be eating ALL of my points or just not exceeding them? I feel as if I'm eating a lot.

Melissa - eat whatever you'd like...in moderation of course! My recommendations for italian restaurants:
--Any type of grilled or baked chicken or fish
--Pasta with garlic & oil
--Pasta with filetto di pomodoro (tomato sauce)
--Try to stay away from anything 'parmigiano' as that means breaded, fried, and covered with cheese
--Try to stay away from butter or cream sauces
--Send the bread basket back, or have it put on the other side of the table
--Have a salad with oil & vinegar on the side or shrimp cocktail for appetizer
--Drink WATER!!!!

Chrissi - yes you need to eat all of your daily target points. It's the MINIMUM you should be eating.

Suggestions if you feel you're eating too much:

1. Make sure you're getting in all of your good health guidelines everyday. This should use almost 20 points a day.

2. Make sure your portions are correct.

3. If you are doing the above and still feel like you're eating too much, use more of the full fat foods instead of fat free or reduced fat. This way you're eating the same VOLUME but you're eating more points. For instance, 1 cup of skim milk is 2 points, while a cup of whole milk is 3. Same volume, higher points. Then, as you lose weight, and you lose points, you can start going to lower calorie / lower fat foods and still eat the same volume for less points and not feel hungry!

I use WW online and they only deduct your activity points after you have used your extra 35 points. Its kind of good cause lets say you earn 10 activity points thats week and 35 flex points you can really use them all at once rather than using the activity points that day...

Hmmm they must've changed it. Either way it doesn't really make a difference. AP's, WPA's, they're pretty much the same....just AP's you have to work for.

For an appt- get minestrone soup or any non-cream based soup. (Italian resturants should have minestrone). Soup is SO filling. Then, when you actually get your meal...you wont eat as much!

Dont forget to ask for whole wheat pasta, almost all places have it!

Congrats!! 17lbs is fabulous!
I'm doing pretty good. i just ate like half a box of cheez its...lol theyre so delish. at least they were reduced fat.

ques. i know how activity pts worked on the old plan. now with the new plan im not sure. if i earn 3 APs..are they good only for that day, or are they good for the entire week? for some reason i thought w/ the new plan the usage of AP changed.

thanks girlss

Congrats Kelley! Keep up the good work!

Colleen - AP's can now be held for the week. So yes, now they rollover. But if you don't use them by the end of the week, you lose them.
