WW Support Thread

Original post by SummerBride10

We used to have a WW Support Thread...and that died down. I think we need a new one- I need alot of support and motivation. For about 2 weeks after my grandfather passed away I just ate and ate and ate...I ended up gaining 1.2 lbs. I'm trying to get back on track.

Who here is doing WW?

Ok ladies......stop the presses!

I just got an email from Hungry Girl.......Vitamuffin is coming our with a Chocolate Mint Vitatop!

Can we say mmmmmmmmmmmmmm???????

I saw that earlier! I'd love to order them through the website, but you end up getting so many...and my freezer isn't that big, since I live on my own. Gotta scope out Stop & Shop and Whole Foods in the coming weeks to see if they start carrying them.

I just hope it doesn't taste like fake mint, like the WW choc mint ice cream...that tastes like toothpaste to me

Speaking of WW ice cream...has anyone tried those WW ice cream candy bars? They're three points...those suckers better be either really good or really big for me to spend three weeklies on them! Anyone?

they are delcious!! well worth 3 points!

i got my first 5 lb star yesterday

FH told me he lost 7 lbs, even though he doesnt really count points and has only been to one meeting. lol. but i think it just helped us have a perspective on different foods

i think he may come with me to a meeting next week. !

Awww thanks Gina!!!!

Janis - CONGRATS! That's wonderful! And don't worry, my FH instantly lost 10 pounds when we moved in together, just because I cook differently than his mother......soooooo not fair.

Kelley - CONGRATS to you too! You're almost there!

Re: WW Support Thread

I think its time for the WW Thread to be brought back to life.

I've been trying super hard for the past 2 weeks. Had very limited screw ups. I have to go for my montly weigh in. I think I'm going to go saturday but im nervous about it cuz im PMSing.

How did I ever do a WEEKLY weigh in? It's too much stress lol

Re: WW Support Thread

Yup time to come back to the thread

Colleen, you know as a lifetimer, you only HAVE to weigh once a month....but you can still weigh every week if you'd like. Maybe it might help ease your mind better than having to try each month to make that monthly weigh in.

Oh and you'd only have to pay the first time you're over for the month......if you were over of course.

I've only weighed in twice a month once..but thats bc I gained like 2lbs and was trying to lose it.

Right now, I'm under goal by 11lbs. I set a higher goal so I could go for free sooner lol

Re: WW Support Thread

I went for my monthly weigh in yesterday and was soo happy because i went down 2.8 which was awesome because last month i had gone up .8.

But last month I had felt myself slipping a little because of getting comfortable with living with FH and having both my food and his food in the house, i found myself eating more of his food-the not so healthy food. But this month I got back on track and got back to the gym because I can't let myself slip like that all the time, I have to control myself.

Re: WW Support Thread

Teri...im soooo proud of you. 2.8 is so fabulous.

I went down 1lb this month...i was hoping for a little more. but ill take it because its better than going up!! im gonna try and get to the gym more often these next few weeks.
