Re: WW Support Thread

You look great Lsorrent!

I've lost 8 pounds in the last month on pseudo WW. What really helped was my new kickboxing MMA class FH and I are taking 2X a week. Its and awesome class.

Now starting tomorrow (famous words) I'm hitting WW hard core! With salads at lunch and everything.

Just re-joined today!!! I hope I can stay with it for the whole 10 months til my wedding! I normally go on, lose 5 or so lbs and then stop.... I need serious motivation!

JBC12510, how was your first day back?

I started to hit hardcore today and successfully avoided cake at the office.

Monthly Weigh in= down 1.6 lbs

Of course this weekend is a diff. story> Anyone else not really follow WW on the weekend?

Re: WW Support Thread

Great job Colleen!

I'm much more lenient with myself on the weekends. Then I start up again during the week. I'm sure that has also contributed to my more relaxed attitude toward it, and I'm sure if I weren't so relaxed on the weekends, I'd be doing even better at staying on track!

Re: WW Support Thread

I've found most people I know on WW 'cheat' on the weekends..or like you said are much more lenient.

I don't think I'm doing good at maintaining. Ever since I started training to run a 10k, I've lost about 4lbs. I'm 3lbs away from the minimum weight for my height unless I lie and say I'm 5'4'. But I'm so used to eating not alot....I feel like I'm overeating, you know?

Re: WW Support Thread

Do you eat a lot of low fat or fat free stuff? Try changing to the fuller fat stuff so you have the same volume but more calories (aka points).

Re: WW Support Thread

I honestly dont have alot of lowfat/fat free stuff. I eat alot of low point or no points. Like my fav. snack is baby carrots. I snack on them all the time, but they're 0 points.

Re: WW Support Thread

Try adding in some snacks with points then. Maybe fruit or yogurt instead of carrots.

Re: WW Support Thread

thanks laura...i'll try to snack more. As it is, I eat about 4 small meals a day. I bring snacks to work but dont eat them sometimes because I get so busy. fh is gonna kill me if i lose any more weight.

Re: WW Support Thread

I actually missed the Wed. afternoon meeting for the past 3 weeks first, due to the snow, then getting married and last being on my mini-moon. So, my question, can I go to the first meeting to join anywhere (there's one on Sunrise Hwy) and keep up with the meetings in the city? Or must you go where you join?
