x-post BHB: NWR speech teacher

Hi ladies!

I recently graduated with my masters degree in speech-language pathology (yay!! ) and was wondering if anyone knows of any schools or agencies (nassau, suffolk, queens or brooklyn) that are hiring or are in need of an SLP.

Thanks ladies!

That would be a good foot in the door for you though! Does your college have an alumni services office? Mine helped me with looking for jobs that I was qualified for.

Congrats to you! I know how hard you must have worked. Did you look into hospitals or private facilities?

Thanks!!

I would take the positions if they were offered to me but they havent been (which is why i think they are looking for someone with more expereince and licensed, which i am not yet)

I think its even more difficult to find a position in a hospital, so ive been told. But i interned at a hospital and i dont think i can handle that type of setting.
Thanks for the advice
