If you can't switch the date then absolutely not! She knew the date of your bach party before she booked her wedding? Thats just crazy.
I would definitely keep your date!

could you maybe do your bach party on the 4th? its a friday night and i know its less than ideal but than it wont seem like your blowing off your friends wedding for a bach party.
also i would give her the benefit of the doubt and not be too upset about the day she picked, yes its irritating that its a week before yours and you were engaged first but that might of been the only date open.

I answered you on Bride helping Brides....but I'd stick with your plans. She knew your plans, and she did what was best for her. So you need to do what is best for you

That is a tough one! If you *really* can't change it then you just keep your plans as they were and don't go to her wedding. Really try to change things if you can if she is important to you as a friend.

I absolutely would NOT cancel your bachelorette party plans! I feel it was very inconsiderate of her to do that to you.

Knowing that you had your wedding booked for a while and now bachelorette party the week before I would say don't change it! That's not right ..if she wanted to so soon and knowing all of your BM's would be put in a tought spot also was selfish on her part..there are many other weekends before that she could have chosen IMO

she hasnt told you herself she booked the same day as her wedding?

She just booked last night. She had told me she was thinking about the 5th and I reminded her of the bach party and that I wouldn't be able to go if she booked that day. She then went back to January dates. Thats why I don't understand why she booked Feb 5th. I feel bad that she is rushing to plan her wedding so maybe I will jsut do a spa during hte day and cancel the night party. Then again, she knew I couldn't make it so maybe its not importatnt for me or my BMs to be there. I have to talk with my BMs and figure it out. Thanks for your opinions!!!
she should do it in January! This is not fair to you to have to change your Bachelorette Party!
