x-post.. Dress question

My dress just came in and I need to go 'inspect' it.

Can you pass on some words of wisdom? What should I look for?

I'm bringing my slip, shoes, jewelry and veil. Is there anything else I should bring?

That is a great question. My dress just came in too so I would like to know form some experienced brides.

When you go to 'inspect' your dress, they want to make sure you agree that it was ordered in the correct color, any beading is not falling off. Basically that what you ordered is what you got. I brought my mom and she inspected the embelishments and the seams and such.

definitely look at the beading and for any ripped/teared lace. make sure there arent any pulls in the fabric...

*dont forget the bra you are wearing in the dress as well!!!*
