I am looking for a different/ fun kind of place in Port Jeff for a RD. Not Italian food bc our RH has all Italian food. It's going to be on a Sat. night so some places won't book events. I looked at Papa Joe's shrimp and crab factory but their event menu has no seafood. Who wants penne vodka at a seafood place?
It doesn't have to be seafood---just thought that place was kind of different.
Any suggestions? Defintely prefer something in/ very close to Port Jefferson.

I say Danfords as well. They just renovated the bar area, WAVE. I heard its nice!

it depends on how much u want to spend. Pace's is delicious but it could really break the bank. Danfords is nice as well. There's also toast but thats more a dessert place

Danfords bride here. They have just redone their restaurant and the service and menu (and price) is fabulous.
We had our RD at the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook, just 7 min away from PJ. It was great and we had wonderful service and food again.
We also looked at the Elk Street Grille right in Pt. Jeff (across the street from the Gap off Main). It's a very different sort of place and it might fit the bill nicely for your party, depending on how many people you have.
