Those are so beautiful! I definitely won't be making my own invitations, but I'm making my own wedding programs and menus.

it's really so easy. You just need a laser printer. I did it on word. have the template if you want it. Assuming you have the fonts on your computer you can just change the words.
Can you email me the template? My email is [email protected] I'm going to try but I'm afraid that I will mess them up!

Re: Invites I made (ideas for people)
Those are beautiful! And the price is so good.
I posted that I have begun the process to and will post pics as promised as soon as I can.
I went to Kinkos, Pearl Paint, Michaels, and JoAnns, and a scrapbook store. I might need to check out the paper store you sid to see if I can find something I like better...
What we have decided on using right now is cardstock from Kinkos for the card -its like $10 for a ream(sp?) of 250. I only need 150 but its cheaper to buy a ream.
Then the Vellum overlay at Pearl Paint was 25 cents a copy and I can get 3 per invites on one sheet.
Then the repsonse post cards will be cardstock.
And ribbon is the last material needed.
I ordered little horseshoe charms which cost me $75. I think that is my biggest expense.
My whole cost should be uner $150.
Oh, I forgot envelopes. Still the same rough estimate cost.
Dont worry, I post a definite cost with pics very soon!

i wanna see, i wanna see!
i am in the same boat, in the midst of creating a design and then will figure out what paper to get and how to assemble. i pounded the pavement and scoped out the paper stores and found that i will definitely be able to get what i have in mind.
vellum or not to vellum, i have yet to answer that for myself. also, did you go square or rectangle? what size?

They will actually be rectacular- but folded tri-fold. In the middle will be the normal wording and info. On the left side will be the response postcard. And on the right side will be directions and hotel info. When folded it will look similar to shape and size like a business envelope.
I think I jsut need to post now!!! LOL- I am gong to take a pic when i get home and post...
This way you can all see it instead of my trying to describe it
