you probably don't even need that many. Some people won't show, some will be late and miss the programs and some won't bother.
Men never look at them.
If they cost a lot - cut back. if not trouble - then 1 per couple is MORE than enough

I'd say 1 per person....why half-step...when you enter a church the usher hands you a program they don't tell people arriving together they'll have to share the program that is tacky...printing programs is cheap there is a lot of nice paper you can purchase and print yourself for $10-15 per 100 sheets check the net.

I think you should do 2 - for example, me and my FH don't live together so if I went to a wedding I'd like to keep one and he would probably too.

Also, don't forget that some people who aren't invited to the reception willgo to church.. so you may have more people than that!
