I felt the same way....about 45 people were invited...only 23 people came. I was upset also...because I go to everyone else's stuff and I felt like nobody could come to mine. But, my mom made me realize that the people who came...are my real family and friends who will always be there. Don't worry...you'll have a great time!

You're not alone. I invited 75 people to my sister's shower. Very few of them even bothered to RSVP. It looked liek we'd have no one, but we had about 30 people. It's common. People have a million excuses! Te bottoms line is, you'll have fun no matter who does and doens't show up.
Just a Q; Are you throwing your own shower? You described it like you are. Some people might be put off by that?

for sometime i was crying thinking about my shower.....since i looks like my mother won't be able to come she lives in florida and takes care of my dad who has severe alzeheimers. and a majority of my family is OOT. I'm getting use to idea though........
while it sucks that other brides have the same problems, it is comforting to be able to talk about

I didn't have alot of people at my shower either. Not only that, but I missed my minimum for my wedding by 20 people! Talk about feeling un-loved!
Don't sweat it, it only means that the ones who are there really want to be there for you.
