you must be a newbie....Back in April the wedding as called off. I am down to the end when the dress should be taken home. And I live in an aparment with just no room to safely store it.

It's still not in. Supposely it was shipped August 31st and should be here the first week of Sept. And to be honest, since I had eye surgery I really haven't stayed on top of them.

I do have a fitting scheduled for next Thursday. They gave me a hard time about make the fitting appointments. I was like, I need these appointments regardless, because the dress has to be in by first week of September or I am screwed.

I am going to call them today. But don't you think this is cutting it really late?

I don't blame you for being in panic mode. When was the last time you spoke with the salon? What did they tell you?
I would allow for 3 fittings. 1st, 2nd to see how fits, and 3rd just in case after second something did not lay right....But that is just me and my overly-anal-self

When did you order it. My Jasmine I ordered last year in May, and it was in by Oct.

I have 3 fittings scheduled. I am not in panic mode yet (which you think I should be, right??) I have been more concerned about my vision and healing. But I am starting to feel better, so I am getting back into wedding planning.

I spoke to the salon Aug 17, right before my surgery. They said it will be shipped Aug 31 and will be first week of Sept. Haven't spoken to them since. I orderd the dress end of Feburary.


If it is not in by Tuesday, I think I will be freaking out.

Jenny that's a beautfuil dress- I hope someone buys it from you. I already have mine ( and yours would be too tiny!)

Peabody,mine is also Jasmine ordred in February& came in about 4 months,& it was made to hollow to hem measurements.

I wonder if the store didn't order it when they said they did.
