My Grandmother worked as a nurse at the Central Islip Psychiatric Center and has horrible stories. I swear she has been brainwashed there.... she used to have to go down in the tunnels and so the Electric Shock Therepy and labotomies. I think I heard from someone at work that the people in the Massapequa house actually practice witchcraft, hence the reason for their house looking the way it does. Is there any truth to that? I always wondered.

O GOD..... I know the road u turn off of hicksville road by the old hospital. u turn by that lights across from the hospital. You make the first left. Its either on Daniel or thats the name of the road its on.

What does everyone know about mount misery?

I was there once...I think it was the place. There is a road that runs alongside a cemetery. Anyway, my DH (back then my friend) hopped the fence and started walking around with a friend, while I stayed in the car with my girlfriend. The two of them came running back and claimed that they saw lights coming towards them...like someone walking with a cigarette. Who knows?

Mount misery is a road that ends at a big log. It is actually called mt. misery rd. Its off of Sweet hollow rd. or whatever its called. They say that there is a building there in the woods behing 'the log' where they use to sacrafice animals and legend has it that there was a mass suicide that took place there. There are very nice houses also on that road!

midget mansion is in Bayville.....somewhere. I actually haven't found it yet! But it's a mansion sized for midgets! The Devil House is a spooky looking house with candles in every window, a herse in the driveway and a hugh wrought irion fence...it's like the Munsters house, only it's surrounded by perfect suburbia!

When I was younger, my brother went to the devil house with his buddies and myself. They wanted to see what was in the backyard. So he left me in the car. When he got back to the car , he said it was very eerie there. That there was a statue of the Virgin Mary facing the wall, and there are crosses buried upside down. That freaked me out. My brother is a serious person & never lies to me, so I knew he wasn't messing around with me.
