I second the Starbucks card! :) It's universal and I got one for my boss as a gift one year and she loved it!

I've always given my landlords bottles of wine or champagne. You can never go wrong with liquor!!!

I would say for dinner maybe 50 dollars. it would pay for both of their meals and tip.

i was going to actually pay my rent on time.. i'm always late and she doesn't really care because she knows i'm good for the money, i'm just forgetful and since i pay in cash, i have to remember to go to the bank.
so that was the plan, up until i was out of town on the 1st and just got home.. banks closed. oh well, maybe next year. maybe.
instead i just got her daughter a gift. she likes to bake so i got her an oven mitt filled with a baggie of cookie ingredients and recipe cards. she's 10, she'll love it.

I rent from my aunt and uncle. Every year we get them a GC to a restaurant. This year they talk about a tiny diner in Centereach, I may go for that!
