Re: Seriously: Help me decide: Toss or hold on too?
do what you feel its best in your heart no matter how hard the decision must be. Either way you seem like a strong woman and you should be happy, you deserve that.

you're the only one who cna amke this decision, but since it seems s painful, I would throw most of it out, maybe rip it up to help you feel better, burnit,w ahtever..but hang on to one or two things that really hold fond memories for you. you're never ever going to forget him, that's true, and some day the pain WILL be gone or mostly gone and you might want to tell your kids or grandkids about him, or whatever. After many many years, often the bad memories go away (not that you'll ever forget what he did to you), but it's nice to hang on to one or two good memories.
I'm a very sentimental person and have kept at least a couple mementos from previous relationships, because it's fun to look back and chuckle about things, but that's just the type of person I am. If you don't want to be reminded of him any more, get rid of those things, or if you don't want to see them for the moment, but know you'll want to look back at them later on, either put them in storage, or ask a friend or loved one if you can keep them at their house for now.
I burned the old memories!
skim through it and start narrowing it down. Eventually, you'll probably toss all of it. But, I always found it easier after a break up to go through stuff and norrow it down instead of tossing it all at once.
