That sounds like an excellent idea....I am going to look around for something like that. Dont worry...I wont jump on your Verdi's gig.....that just isnt right. I hope you get the job. I remember when I was about 15 I worked at my temple in the coat room and I used to make a lot of money in tips, even though we were supposed to take tips lol.

Scott- that's very nice of you to say, but don't be silly! You should check out Verdi's too! They seemed to be hiring for various coat check and bathroom attendant positions, so they're looking for more than two people - it's worth a shot!

I have no idea - don't people still bring coats for chilly AC rooms though? I know I do at least, I'm alwasy cold! I'll ask that if they call me back!

That is awesome. I would love to get a side job for Saturdays. But I want a job with the least amount of responsibility. Kind of like Kevin Spacey in American Beauty.

Maybe when the warm weather comes they give you different responsibilities....Who knows...Its worth it...You still have a few months until it gets so warm that you dont need a jacket right?

I was hoping to find something along those lines too - which is why the coat check appealed to me. I mean, how hard could it possibly be to hang and hand back coats? Plus, I'll probably get to do a lot of reading in between too! Something mindless and dull that will pay me, plus tips..... works for me!

it's on Old Country Road in Westbury, there's Dunkin Donuts right next store and I think Newbridge Road is only a few streets down.
