I would call your dr or your local pharmacist.

Ok, my period cycle is very different every month. I am getting married Saturday & I was hoping to have gotten it by now so I would be clear for the wedding night & honeymoon. But, as luck would have it, I didn't get it yet and am expecting it any day now...
My question is - is there any way of stalling it for 2 weeks at this point? I used to take birth control but I haven't in a few months. Is it true you can start taking it now (3 pills for 2 days, 2 pills for 2 days, and then one pill a day) and it will stall or stop your period????
Anyone ever do this or have another idea?

Thanks!!!

yes that can definitely be done, although you may still have some spotting because you stopped taking the pills.

i would definitely call your doctor RIGHT NOW so you can figure it out- they deal with stuff like this all the time. Good luck!

Oh honey you waited too long!! I would check with your dr. but honestly, I highly recommend that even if you do find a way to stall your period, use a backup method of BC while on the HM.

This is coming from a girl who is now 30 weeks pregnant with a Honeymoon baby for exactly this reason - playing around with my pills at the last minute to schedule my period appropriately. Unless you are totally up for a HM baby - use a backup method of birth control PLEASE. TRUST ME on this one.

Wow, def talk to a doctor, mother nature's tricky and you don't want to mess something up. See, and everyone thought I was crazy when picking my date. Lol, I'm on BC so I'm on a regular schedule. I actually counted out every month when I'm supposed to get it (been right every time so far!) so that I won't have it for the HM.
