The first line was really dark and the second was there but not as dark.

Oh goodness no, she IS preggo

This is one time that a BFP isn't a good thing

Definitely have your friend see an ob/gyn .. they will reconfirm the test and also do a blood test on her - which is the only CERTAIN way to determine her pregnancy.

Unfortunately, though, its pretty rare to get a false positive on a HPT.

I know you don't know what to say to your friend, Kristin - I'm sure she is scared but I'm sure just having you there for support is helping her a lot!
