This is a fantabulous thread. I know I've often said: 'I wish this or that was different...' But of course I can't remember now.

Re: Candy Reinvention!

I would make a three-layer candy bar!

Top layer: Heath bar

Middle bar: Reese's

Bottom layer: Snickers

I would make the Tootsie pops more tootsie roll and less lollipop.

I would make M&Ms have words on the backs of them so kids could make poetry like with word magnets!

I am envisioning a candy bar that is flaky like a chocolate croissant, with a layer of rasperry jelly...

I would love to have all my fav candies with some kind of magic ingredient that prevents it from sticking in my teeth!

How embarrasing after eating chocolate (or the worst culprit - Swedish fish) and then having to wonder if I have it inbetween my teeth Same deal with Doritoes

You know, that's my dream. One of my friends is in advertising for Godiva and they put out tons of the slightly irregular truffles all around the building...She'd come home with bags bursting with truffles...That's my other dream.

I would change milk duds somehow so that when you bit into them your top and bottom teeth don't get stuck together.

Haha - that is so awesome for her! While growing up I always wanted to be an ice cream tester - who tries out the new flavors. I still think it would be cool, but I don't know if my butt could handle that many calories/day!

If you go to www.mms.com you can imprint anything you want on the M&M's to personalize them. I did it for the wedding!

The chocolate coating on Klondike bars needs to be re-engineered to prevent cracking. It's annoying when you're eating one and in one bite the top layer of chocolate coating has been shorn off.

I hate that too. I want to eat that chocolate cause it is so good, but I want to save it for the remaining ice cream. Plus once it is gone it is harder to hold the thing without dripping all over!

True, but then it might take on a gelatenous consistency, and chocolate gelatenous is the WORST.
