Haven't seen it or read it (but I did have the game for my Commodore 64 )

A co-worker of mine said it was good and worth seeing.

I went to see it...but didn't cuz I fell asleep in the middle!!!!! Of course the UK was all sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for it - I was even made to read the book in preparation. Never finished the book either. I really like Sam Rockwell, too, so you'd think that'd be enough...but there were singing dolphins in the opening credits and then it was pretty much downhill from there...

LOL! That was me I told my boyfriend, I would have been happy watching the dolphins over and over again. he watched the whole thing and said the dolphins were the highlight too.

See, I didn't like the dolphins at all!!! I meant it started off on a real low point with the dolphins and then just spiraled downward!!

I read it and LOVED the book. I read a bunch of the follow up books, and really they are all SO good!

I tried to rent the movie last weekend, but it was all sold out at Blockbuster. I heard it wasn't as good as the book though, but I still want to see it cause the book was SO good
