We have it on DVD, I've watched the Dawn-Tim scene from the Christmas party a frajillion times!

Yes!

One of my fave things on the BBC version is when David Brent points at the stuffed monkey atop the coat rack. He has a look on his face that's just priceless!

I also sheepishly admit to liking the theme song...

Re: The Office - last night's episode?

I've grown strangely interested in this show.

Probably because I don't feel like changing after EARL. (Damn network execs!!!)

Sweetadeline, I like the theme song too, but I also love the AbFab theme song!

Wheels on fire, rolling down the rooooooooad...

I did a little bit of research, and it turns out that the BBC Office them was written by... ROD STEWART!

I have it on my Ipod. That makes me seem a little sad, now that we know it's written by Rod Stewart, eh?

No worries, Rod Stewart haters! DH just told me that I'm completely wrong: Rod Stewart does a famous version, but the song was actually written by Mike D'Abo of Manfred Mann (a band best known for that 'Doo wah diddy diddy dum diddy doo' song).
