Get a different DJ...preferrably ones with brains.

I would have specified when the band could take their breaks. although they were great, they took their last break at about 11:30PM - the wedding ended at 12:30AM but since there was a lull, people started to leave at that time.

I would have told off our bigotted DJ, and spent more money or time worrying about my hair. I didn't like my trial but went with it anyway... Because everyone else told me it was pretty.. yuck. I hated it. So the second thing I would change is my fault.

1) I would get my hair & makeup done FIRST! Or almost first.

I was done last and had to rush pictures at the house. Which I still feel horrible about.
Makeup settles - it doesn't vanish!
Get done first - you'll be done and your photographer can use this time to take real pictures !!

2) Even if you think your photographer is wonderful - I'd STILL invest in the 2nd photographer/photojournalist.
You get more proofs, more variety, more detail, etc...I wish there was a 2nd photographer snapping away.

Nothing! My day was perfect and even better than I imagined it would be.

EXCEPT that I wish I had lost more weight!!

Not had ALL our families in the photostudio at once so we wouldnt have not taken so many pictures that shouldve been taken.

I would have taken the day off on the friday before my wedding, I didn't get any work done anyway! Other than that, it was great

Gone with DH on the choice of photographer. Unfortunately we were between two and I pushed for the one we picked, which was far and away the BIGGEST MISTAKE made during wedding planning.

Our day was better than I hoped for and I wouldn't change any vendor we used. I just feel bad that we didn't get around to every table, so if I could do it again I would make sure to talk more with guests and dance less.

Oh I would of definitely done something different
with my hair. I went for a trial and everyone said they loved
it but i wasn't that crazy about it. Oh well. Besides that
everything else was perfect.

Re: If I could do it all over again...

Spent more money on the photographer.

Found a different (better!) ceremony location.

Planned it all my by self rather than delegating some tasks to my mother. She messed up a lot of what I asked her to do and I ended up just doing some of the things I asked her to do since she wasn't able to do it.

Not bothered with the 'cute' place cards or favors. Way to much effort for the pay off.

Quick Question:

Has anyone taken any action toward any vendors that they were not happy with?????

We didn't. We really want to forget about them and feel that warning other brides about them will help. Of course, that doesn't mean they'll listen. Unfortunately we didn't either.
