I am feeling the same way lately. I have no desire to do anymore planning and I still have a lot to do. I dont have a florist, and I need to send my envelopes to a calligrapher. I dont feel like doing anything wedding related.

are you not happy with the planning itself or just that you wish it was 2006 already and you were married? are you having problems with vendors? family? tell us more!

Honestly, I had issues, but loved planning my wedding. I guess because I already work in the industry, but I wanted the planning to never end! I guess I just secretly wanted to be a bride-to-be forever!!!! I still do, I'm going through withdrawal!!!

If you need any help, ideas, or just someone to talk to, seriously, FM me. Now that mine is over I have plenty of time and fresh ideas!

sometimes I feel that way-especially since I am still a year away...just want to be married and enjoying that..but I know this is a good time as well so I am trying to enjoy

you're not alone! this whole process can get really stressful.

if it helps, whenever i get frustrated, i take a break from the planning. FH and i also have 'NWR' time when we're forbidden to discuss anything wedding-related.

Honestly, I really didn't like planning at all (except for LIW of course!). But, I had a GREAT time at the wedding....

I absolutely hate it. I find it completely stressful. And is it just me, or are vendors sometimes too SLOW getting back to you?

I'm still waiting to hear from restaurants I contacted last week regarding menus for an e-party.

During the planning process I really wanted to punch someone. No joke. At times it was so frustrating -- no one cares about it the way you do. People (family, vendors, friends) promise to do something and then they don't. Balls get dropped, budgets get out of control and people make demands that mean more work/expense for you but not them.

You end up becoming a crazy.

It wasn't always that way. Sometimes it was fun too. My sister was working 70 hours a week during my engagement, and almost every weekend. Needless to say she couldn't come in a make M&M favors with me. But she came to my final fitting to learn my bustle and was very supportive. It was one of the greatest pre-wedding moments.

I think sometimes it helps to step away from some situations because they are getting too heated. Remember no one will care or remember a lot the details that you (and all of us) obsess over.

I had a great wedding and so it all paid off.

sometimes i get unhappy b/c i feel like there is so much to do and decisions to make and just not enough time to do it but i am trying to remeber that i will only do this once and that i should have fun with it...it's very hard, though....

Its what I do for a living (not weddings specifically) and while the tension I am used to I guess bc it is my own wedding I get frustrated and overwhelmed VERY easily

first of all I love inspector gadget!!!!

I get a little bent out of shape about the money part of it.. like how in the hell are we going to afford everything.....

there are millions of vendors... so that will always work out... and the little stuff... I am sure there are people around to help you out with it... People love weddings... ask for help if you need it!!!!
