Ya know my Dad would have said 'What do you mean you aren't taking his name???' I am a traditional liberal I suppose.

Leslie,
You truly are an inspiration! I'm sure your words don't speak half the volume of your emotions right now.
There's not much to say that the other girls haven't. I truly hope that you have the utmost wonderful day tomorrow, filled with family, friends, laughter and rememberance. May it be everything you expected and more!
Good Luck and Congratulations!!!!!

funny you say that because my father said the same thing......and i would have thought that he would want me to keep it.
my mother on the other hand who STILL MOURNS her Italian last name thinks it's wonderful and slightly IRONIC that she named me with a nice italian first and middle name and that i'm going to get a 'nice italian' last name. she couldnt' be MORE thrilled.
back to you....i can't wait to see your pics and hear your recap. that is one thing i love ...and i think sometimes we don't get many 'recaps' of the day...we get reviews of vendors...
but i am anticipating you giving us a wonderful recap to enjoy!

Maybe that's why we get along so well, I also think of myself as 'a traditional liberal'!!

Leslie- I am not sure I can capture in words howmoves I was reading your post. You are a very strong woman. And you said it so well, we are a direct reflection of our parents. We can not be who we are without their guidance.
