So do I. Why don;t you try talking with her, telling her your concerns?

I wanted to get other thoughts on it w/ out sounding selfish (like you CAN'T have your wedding when you want b/c MY wedding is then, & I picked it first)

As long as you word and phrase it properly it wont sound selfish!

Don't change your date. SHe hasn't set a date yet. Imagine if you change your date and then she changes hers to the same date. You got engaged first, you picked your date first, you booked the hall first, she can't expect you to change your date because she thinks she may want to get married in September/November. She will probably end up changing her mind about the date once she starts looking at halls or calling places in Europe. You should send out your STD's and newsletters etc and ashe will realize that its not a good idea to plan her wedding close to yours. Good luck and keep us updated!!

I don't think you're being selfish AT ALL!!!! If you told her your date will be in Nov. she should respect it and set her date for another time of the year. I would just talk to her about it since you guys seem like you're close. Good luck!

Thank you all for your kind words and concern, it means alot... However the more we discuss it the more we think that we'll most likly change out date. I'd rather, not make it an issue... I want my cousin to enjoy the experiecne & planning w/o any Drama...

We're going to dinner w/ FILs tommorow night (they're coming home from vacation today,) I'm a really lucky to girl where I'm not just marring an amazing man, I'm also marring in to a wonderful supportive family, my FMIL will know excatly how it handel it w/ grace and class.
