Please do not misunderstand and I mean no disrepect..JMO that if I was a guest at a wedding I would want a meat or plain type pasta dish to choose. Again JMO ....

I was going to say - where did thos choices come from???! NRC didn't offer us any of those! But obviously it's becuse you are going all vegan. NRC is so accomodating. I absolutely love our hall!

I really like the sound of the pumpkin ravioli! I would order that! And I think most people that are not vegan, wouldn't mind having a pasta dish.

It all sounds so yummy! If I could make one suggestion: a lot of people are allergic to nuts (including my DH) so would there be any way for the nuts not to be on the salad?

I just went to a wedding at the NRC and the service and food were awsome.

if i got those choices for dinner and it were a surpise to me about the menu i would truthfully be a bit upset however some other adventurous people like my mother would probably order one of each. she loves all that sutff.

Out of curiousity, how does one make a vegan cake? What do you subsitute for eggs?

I would choose the pumpkin ravioli, I love Miso sauce. I'm not vegan but I love your menu options!! The entrees sound innovative and I would be excited to try any of them. I would make my FH order the stuffed squash so I could try them both. You do not need to add meat to the menu. Its perfect just the way it is! I think your guests are going to be impressed by the food.

I'm not a vegetarian or a vegan, but I must say that your menu sounds AMAZING, and as a meat-eater, I would be totally psyched to be a guest at a wedding with your menu!

I am going to be honest- but I hope I would be filled up from cocktail hour

too fancy for me- I am a plain eater- and I need to eat protein at every meal

I applaud you and FH for creating a menu and wedding that is so reflective of your lifestyle! I think that is so awesome.

Maybe it's none of my business, but can I just suggest one thing? I understand that being vegan is important to you guys, but you may end up with some unhappy guests who don't appreciate the lack of a meat choice. When I have any type of party, I always consider my vegetarian/vegan friends and make sure that there are a few things in each course that they can eat. I just think it would nice to consider non-vegans who might not be thrilled at the menu choice. I appreciate the effort you put into doing this, but I would have no idea which one to pick if I had the choice. I could be totally off here... I'm just offering something to consider. I hope you don't get mad at my offering my opinion...

Stephanie was asking what we'd choose from her list - not what any of us would offer in addition to this or what we serve in our homes and not what we think about a vegan menu. Her decision has been made and I applaud her and her FH for standing by it.

I'd probably like all of them, but I'd either choose #1 (if I could get a different or no sauce) or #3. It's so nice to see that your RH is being so accommodating.
