Re: Flowerfield Brides

I'm getting married the month before you...4/13/03!!! I love it and could not be happier with my decison! You are going to be so pleased when you see it! The ballroom is all white so I wanted to bring color into it since it will be spring. I am using all colored (unsure of colors at this time) tulips in a silver mint julip cup with votives all around it...very simple. I am getting married at my church so I can't help you with ceremony stuff...sorry. If you have anymore questions...feel free to ask!

I am getting married at Flowerfield April 18...I will be happy if the ceremony is inside or outside. (It is that beautiful there). I am doing all roses for my flowers, probably in warm pinks and reds. Let me know what you think of Flowerfield when you finally see it, I can talk about that place all day! Are you having your ceremony there?

Re: Flowerfield Brides

I have booked my flowers (burtons), video (platinum video), and photo (north island) so far. Now I am looking for music for the ceremony and reception. Oh, I also ordered my dress, from burtons ( a demetrios gown). I feel like I got a lot of the big things booked already with 10 months to go. Oh, Cindy are you having your ceremony at Flowerfield too? I wish I could have booked flowerfield during the summer. I couldnt afford it and my FH said NO to a summer wedding. Good luck to all of you, if you ever want to chat more about plans for Flowerfield I am always up for that. Just out of curiousity are you all having the slip covers on the chairs in the ballroom, and are you going with low centerpieces or high? Thanks...

Christy- Hope your plans are going well. No, I am not having my ceremony at Flowerfield. Will you be having your inside the cocktail hour room? I am going with a low centerpiece. I still have a lot to do and little time, but it will all get done. What is next for you?

Debbie08...

Here's what I have booked so far...

Photographer-Maria Celeste-Not your typical wedding photographer. She does a lot of candids/B&W. I could not be happier with her, she is so sweet! You can check out her website at www.mceleste.com

Florist-I'm torn! I met with Heidi at Sugar Magnolias and loved her! I'm unsure if I'm able to fit her into my budget. Her work is amazing and she does a lot of weddings at Flowerfield. She's definitely worth looking into!

Video-I love Motion Pictures Video. If you haven't already gotten a copy of Flowerfield Love Stories...ask for one! It's a demo tape of their work coupled with Flowerfield brides. It's great! Also, ask for a copy of their regular demo tape...it's amazing!

Music-I'm almost positive that I will book the band Heart & Soul. They are a Franklin Wayne band and are unbelieveable! I've seen them perform live twice now and I just think they are amazing!

As you can see, I am still up in the air about many things...I have to stick to a budget and it's so hard!

If you have any other questions... feel free to e-mail me and I'll be happy to answer them! [email protected]

Good Luck!

Re: Flowerfield Brides-Christy

Are you going with the slip covers for the chairs? I'm not sure yet. I think they look pretty, but definitely formal and I'm not sure if that is the look I am going for. My fiance is against it...he says it looks like the chairs are wearing dresses! What do men know? I swear that I could talk about Flowerfield all day too! We should start a chat room just about Flowerfield! If you want to chat more about FF, you can e-mail me directly at [email protected]

I am getting married at Flowerfield March 30, 2003. I have everything booked except for limos. Can anyone suggest what limo company they are using?

Re: Flowerfield Brides

Dawnie,
I am using All Star Limos. They are located in Farmingdale. My friends family used them for all their weddings and I felt very comfortable after booking them.

Re: Flowerfield Brides (J&A)

I am using the slip covers at flowerfield. I want the ballroom chairs to look different from the chairs in the cocktail hour room. I think it is a very formal look, but I really like that. Also I was just at flowerfield the place is looking as beautiful as ever!

how funny. What a small world. I was just found out she was going this morning - when I heard it was at Flowerfields, my first thought was 'I wonder if its a bride from this board'. It was pretty close!

Was your cousin the bride or groom? She's family friends with the groom's parents
