I can't take it I want to scream!!!!

not entirely... but i havent worked since August (i'm a law student) and I am very very excited to start getting a paycheck again when i start my summer job, even if it will only be 12 weeks.

are you currently looking?

I am, I was in the mortgage industry, worked for Greenpoint Mtg/Capital One, Capital One decided to shut down the entire mtg dept, 1000's of people nationwide lost their jobs just from this decison.

Then I got a job somewhere else in the construction field as an admin, and they were sooo slow, and laid people off.

I was laid off from 2 co. in 3 months. It *****. I haven't worked since March, but I have an interview on Friday.

This economy ***** soooooo bad.

I'm a substitute teacher right now, but it's not steady work, I'm only dealing with one school right now and i get a call once a week or so but I'm hoping for something permanent by September.

I need $$$$ -- this stinks

I work 2 part time jobs, since I'm in school full time. One of them I work in an office, the other I'm a Special Ed. substitute teacher on a per diem basis. I'm hoping to find a full time job for sept! I NEED $$$

No, but I was for 3 months a few years ago. It ***** trying to find a job. Then when you get an interview and you think this could be 'the one' , they dont call you back .

I told some other girls on here about the court system. I work for a branch of the Courts and i told her to just keep a watch out for the tests that come out and keep taking them even if you fail just keep your name on the lists coming out all the time.
