Yes we have been bothering them abotu the list & w finally got the finallist about 2weeks ago. Its good they gave me Alist & B. Just what we asked for. The only they asked us was how many were they allowed to invite. AWESOME!

Right now FH lives in the same building at FMIL so we talk on occasion about things. But for the most part she doesn't care and isn't taking part in the planning because she's got her own issues and is also contributing no money.

At first my FMIL wouldnt give any opinions on the wedding and it bothered me especially since we are so close. FH asked her about it and she explained that she didnt want to feel like she was imposing bcuz she knows how impt a wedding is to a bride. i told her that i would LOVE her feedback and that i wouldnt feel she was imposing at all!

maybe ur FMIL is feeling the same way?

We talk about some things. I see her almost every weekend so I usually give her the update then. Its more of an FYI though.

In the beginning I was getting overhwlemed with all of the opinions flying around, so FH and I decided that besides the RH which the parents are helping out with, we are only letting them know whats going on AFTER WE BOOK.

No opinions asked for. Easier that way

I had to ask for it. But they didn't expect that we'd start planning right away so they were surprised when we asked.

lol I totally understand. I am very direct and it bothered me at first so i choose to talk to her. So I know from now on if she doesnt, it is all her and not me.

I speak with my FMIL at least once a day if not 4x a week. we are very close. I'm lucky.

my FMIL is a sweetheart but I don't see her that often because me and FH are usually out or at my house but when I do see her I always update her on everything. She is so cute, she doesn't butt in, she is just happy when I tell her things. As far as the guest list, her and FH are putting it together
