I saw this post this morning and didnt say anything lol.

My feeling is SO WHAT? If we want to plan way in advance, order invites, shoes get dresses who cares? Isn't it our problem if we change our minds? I am willing to bet (like most of them are saying) that they all were ask excited as we are and planned in advance too. I hear how far away my wedding is from my family and friends, I don't need someone who is supposed to understand the excitement to remind me how much longer I have to get married!

So appreciated..I saw this post this morning and it made me annoyed..I remember the 08 girls postng about how they hated the 07 girls 'Teaching' them things or making them feel silly for worrying or even planning their weddings!

Ehh - I guess I'm one of the girls being made fun of since I just posted about my sample invitations this morning. Whatever. I'm starting my second Masters degree in the fall and I wont have time then plus I just like doing things early. I'm pretty set once I make decisions and I dont think I'm 'stressing' over anything at all. Just showing everyone what I'm so happy about.

Also - as far as shoes I'm getting a hollow to hem measurement when they order my dress so I have to have my shoes out a year away from the wedding.

Lots of people are saying hindsight is 20/20 and I know that's true but I dont think talking about future plans necessarily makes you 'stressed' over it.

I am getting my dress practically overdone so ineeded my shoes.And when will i have time to get them if my wedding is in july and school ends in june?

I was very taken back by the thread.Espesially since they know we look tothem for advice. and, i always said that alot of them were the ones who made me realize that you have to plan according to your life style.

But, it doesn't speak for all the 08ers. I am sure there are plenty who looked at that thread and said 'What was the point...we are not here to make fun'

I dont think they saw the bigger picture.

i saw this earlier today. i don't think we have to really explain ourselves in why we are planning 'so early'. we have things going on in our lives that make it easier to get things done early and then we don't stress about things at the last minute. For some of us our weddings are in less than 6 months away and around the holidays who wants to have to worry about added stress???? YAY for the 09 brides!

side question......what does hollow to hem mean???

I am going for my dress in 2 weeks and I have my shoes already but what does that mean.....DUH for me!!!

The measure from your bust down so that when your dress comes in its already your height... I think its mostly done with dresses that have beading or something like that on the bottom - I have a scalloped edge so I needed it.

This post was def started to cause some drama. What the F ever.... So what if I ordered my dress over a year in advance. And yep. I got my shoes, earrings, and all major vendors booked. Does that make me bad? Is it really funny? I think not. What I think is funny is when I see some brides posting things like 'I have 10 days 'til my wedding and I am STRESSED because I haven't done this, that or the other thing.' Yea. That's funny.

Sue me if I have a demanding job and am finishing up my degree and I work out everyday and I am constantly busy. So yea. I wanted to have all my things booked quickly so I could enjoy the rest of my engagement.

We are all stressed. And I am sure the poster that started this crap is stressed too in one way or another. So, to start crap like this is a little stupid. STOOPID!

and also....some 09er girls are only days after the 08 girls, so if the late 08ers are freaking out, then so do our early 09ers---for many of us its less then a year away....and am i missing an 11 board??

so now i am not the best bride.....im a huge procrastinator and im sure i will be doing things last minute---but i seriously give all you girls who have things done so much props! it will only make your life easier

and why the hostility?? cant a girl plan a wedding?

mine is pleated on the bottom so it needs to be done this way also!
