You girls know me...i never bother to respond. But, i had to this time. I just thought, that there were plentyof things one wants to make fun of but I always think 'What if i was in their shoes, I dont really know them'

Ill behonest. I prejudged a couple of people on this site and learned from it. It's a site. I don't know everyones history or back ground. A picture doesnt give you a story on every single user.

I haven't been on this site for very long, but in the few months that I have, I have grown fond of you ladies! And even if sometimes there are posts that may be a little silly at first, who cares! I LOVE it! I love seeing what other people are reacting to and I like sharing my views with them as well. This is a site where people should be able to come to vent and ask questions and not feel self-conscious that someone is poking fun at them!!!

ok so just checked back to 08---she took down her little rant...oh and her wedding is in november(thats like 50 days before tori's)---so why is it bad that we are worrying?)

I was little annoyed by the post but my feeling who cares what they think we do not owe anyone and explaination of why we do things in advance. I learned this while my wedding planning. BTW 2010 bride added this response to the poster of the thread which was priceless.

i saw this post this morning too. Seriously......whatever. I don't think there should be a timeline to get things done. Last time i checked there wasn't some manual saying 'you must get your wedding shoes 2 months before the big day' and 'dont book your photog too early..you may regret it' We do what we do because it fits into our lives. We all have each other's backs so why even care what the other boards say about us.

a brand new razor!! My sis's boyfriend found it, and it was brand new without a sim card!!

I saw she edited it and that bothered me. When I edit i leave what I have written and add to the top.

I saw this post this morning too and did everything in my power not to respond. When I first joined LIW many 08ers were more than a year away from their weddings and freaking out about small things. We are all guilty of this that's why we are addicted to this site but to start a thread poking fun at the future brides is a tad ridiculous. As many of you already said no one knows our situations and what we need to get done. I had to have a lot finished b/c I have to be off my feet for 2months. I just find it funny lot alot of the negative responses from that thread were made my girls that planned most of their wedding at least a year or more in advance

i have to admit, i have just been lurking for the past few days or however long its been... but i have to comment on this..

i fell into the 'started too early' trap, and now im not engaged anymore...

BUT

i dont regret a SINGLE penny of it, because it taught me a HUGE lesson. So for THOSE girls to be criticizing MY girls on their personal decisions... well that makes me mad... because this site is supposed to be helpful, not hurtful.

Ridiculous.

oh and p.s. ... i tried to book my photographer that I was in LOVEEEEE with over a year and a half before the wedding was supposed to be, AND THEY WERE BOOKED EVERY WEEKEND FOR THOSE TWO MONTHS!!! so i dont want to hear that it was 'too early' because I wasnt early enough!
