Its probably more important to be watching the debate right now than something like this... JMO

I found it interesting bc the debate was boring me after a while... they dont have enough maturity between the 2 of them to be president

I couldn't agree with you more!

I have it taping right now but I am so totally sick of watching these debates! I am going to go into work tomorrow and they are going to have a billion 'fact check' articles online and we are going to find out that neither of them told the complete truth tonight... So apparently I am voting for the more believable liar?? I think not!

it was annoying me too. All you do if see how much they are both full of BS. Whatever one would promise the other one would prove how they are lying.

I dont know but i didnt get offended by the video, there was alot of talk against white pp 'rich white people' 'typical white person' and other things like that. I do know its out there in the world and have heard this many times whether on tv, reading about it or hearing others say it. Ignoring it doesnt make it go away. And i just mean racism in general, this is definitely not the first thing ive ever seen that discusses any of this and won't be the last.

I deleted it because some found this offensive, You are right though- this will be discussed over and over again and will probably never go away.

I may get a lot of sh*t for this but I don't get how people find that video offensive. All it's doing is explaining certain things about Obama and outlining slightly OFFENSIVE things that HE has said in past speeches.... As far as the video itself, I don't see how it's offensive but that's just me.

Look, with both candidates you will find some dirt, no question but I think it's important to really research where some people come from and what they stand for...

i agree, it was said in public so its out there. And not like i dont see those exact same things on tv. They show him not putting his hand over his heart during the national anthem and its been showed many times on tv how he wont wear the american flag pin, also have seen the che guevara poster he has in his office many times. All those things are discussed alot, and his pastor too is ALWAYS mentioned. ALmost any news station you watch has brought this up dozens of times. Most of the stuff they showed in that video were actually clips from the news so its been on tv.

I personally did not find it offensive either... I thought it was an interesting video but I probably shouldn't elaborate.. Talking politics causes me to get into arguments so I TRY not to get involved in discussions!!! I like all of you way too much to fight!

yeah its not even about knocking the candidate for me. Its just that these are all things that are on tv already so not like its out of the norm thats all i meant. And as a candidate you know theyre going to do this to you, they will find all the dirt on you that they can find and make it public.

I wont get into the political part either, i think many have their minds made up already and this wont sway somebody to change their vote, maybe a few ppl but most i think will stick to their vote.

Exactly.. All of that 'offensive' stuff about Obama in the video is aired on TV every single day just like there is a whole bunch of 'offensive' stuff about McCain...
Maybe if both candidates just made smarter decisions in their lives none of this would come back to bite them in the a*s later on!

hahaha exactly! if you didnt have any dirt on you then nothing would be aired. EVERY candidate always has dirt on them.

i am curious though and seriously not saying it to start a huge debate. But why doesnt he put his hand over his heart during the national anthem and why does he refuse to wear an american flag pin? I am asking bc i seriously just want to know the answer to this
Butterfly123 Posted:

Re: .

We dont know if he refuses. the video SAYS he refuses because there was only one piece of footage showing it. He explains the reason for not wearing the pin because he feels it takes more to being an American than just wearing a pin. He doesnt need to wear a pin to show how American he is, he is going to SHOW us. Thats my interpretation of it.
