I would definately be upset, how long has she known about your wedding? It sounds like for quite some time....she should've told her new boyfriend that she had a prior engagement (YOUR WEDDING!)

Not that I'm defending her though, BUT we all know what it's like to be in the beginning stages of a relationship, so I'm thinking she spoke to you about it figuring you'd understand. HOWEVER, I am NOT the type of person to do that to someone. If that's the way it ended up, then STAG it is!

oh no! that totally ****s! I would upset - but not mad. You don't know if anything else is going on - ie he needs her there for moral support or something. Just try to understand I'm sure she isn't doing it to hurt you and it hurt he to make the decision as well!

Have you told her how you felt? I know it would be silly to have to say 'Soooooooo, you're NOT coming to MY wedding- you're going w/ this guy to his cousins wedding, who you've probably never even met' right....

wow, i would definitly express my feelings to her. but you know how women get when they meet a man, they forget all about their friends and prior commitments. although she is happy for you, it may be a bit hard for her to attend your wedding stag. you know 'always a bridesmaid never a bride'. you may be truely happy for your bride to be friend but deep down you wish it was you too.

LOl Marcella, Misty Id be annoyed but some women dont know how to juggle friends and BF's.

Its a crying shame, but dont sweat it, just remember it when you need too.

Misty, you know how i feel about BS like this.
She is putting a lot of stake into this 3 months relationship.
That's what I think, she must think she needs to be on best behavior and is trying to impress him.
Sometimes women lose their mind when they get a man.

Listen hon, your wedding is less than 2 montsh, you've got a lot on your plate. Don't sweat it, and don't let it ruin your planning or your day.

FH's cousin was getting married the same day as one of my friends and we agreed to go separate (it ended up not being an issue b/c my friend never got married, but still) And we were together 3 years already! I think you should be her first priority. JMHO.

You are wrong about one thing- You called her a good friend- which she obviously is NOT.

I would be so p*i*s*s*ed. Who the H*E*L*L is this guy anyway and what does she have over her?

If this were me he and I would have to be apart for that day.

I am always accused of spending alot of time with my guy, but I would NOT do this to someone.

that's so crazy .. i might understand if she was married to the guy but 3 months ?!?! just try to forget about it and concentrate on more important things .. like yourself!
