If I were you, I would be ticked off too! If he is the one for her, then he would really understand why she would want/need to be at your wedding, while he was with his family.
The first Thanksgiving my FH and I were together, he spent it with his family, and I spent it with my family. The first Christmas my we were together, he spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my family and I, then spent the afternoon and evening with his family, while I was with my family.
That was 5-6 months into our relationship (almost 7 years ago!) OMG!!!

weddings....f'n weddings...bring out the best and bring out the worst. I cant even remember how many girls have said that theyr eally learned who thier friends were. Many siad that those who they though they were good friends were turned out not to be great friends and those that they did not think they were close to turned out to be the best people that they could count on. It has taken me 10 minutes to type this. I need to quit drinking.

Tell her how this hurts your feelings. I'm sure she hasn't really thought it through.

Misty you have every right to be upset! I do think you should talk to your friend! As some of the other girls have said she is so excited about this new relationship that she can't see what she is doing to her good friend. It doesn't have to be an argument just let her know that you are hurt she won't be attending your special day. Althought she should realize it is wrong she may not know how you feel. Good luck and don't worry just enjoy your day!!
