My last name is Filipino and it's always pronounced the wrong way.

His last name is easy and I won't have to spell it for people anymore...and I like the way it sounds with my name-I can't wait to change!

im taking fhs last name, its soto (hence Mrssoto), i like it, i think its cool that ill have a spanish last name since im not spanish myself. i do wish it was longer though cuz my current last name is also 4 letters and it would be cool to have a longer last name, a little change from this short sutff., o well, im satisfiede as a soto

i strongly dislike FH's last name. its moronta. if you say it in spanish it doesnt sound so bad, but every american person is suprised wehn i tell them. but i want to have the same last name- so what can i do? caitlin moronta sounds and looks weird, doesnt it?

My last name is so easy and short and nice 'Grant' FH is short but some people mis pronounce it. His last name is Anglin my students asked me if I am marrying him because his last name is like angle ( I am a math teacher) What can I say they caught me

Im going from one Italian last name to another...I like my last name but want to chance it bc we want kids one day and I want us to all have the same name but FH said I can do whatever I want

Hmmm....I love my loooong Greek last name but it is kind of annoying since nobody can pronounce it. He has a nice short Sicilian last name so I don't mind changing it.....I contemplated keeping mine but then when I thought about it and having kids, I want us all to have the same last name. Mrs. Latona here I come!

i am kind of indifferent. i love my last name but am fine with either one. the only issue is that fh's name is 11 letters long which seems like a ton when you write it out.

i have no problem taking FHs last name.

& i will be taking FHs last name because it was important to FFIL (who passed away) that i did.

however, i am a little annoyed because we cant have a nice pretty monogram with our initials or our initials on top of our cake because they are all C. other then the fact that it would look stupid they are also FHs initials.

the other issue is that i am Italian & have a dark olive complexion with brown eyes, obviously with that name FH is far from southern Europe with his pasty white complexion & blue & green eyes. so if our kids look nothing like me at least we will all have the same last name.

I can't wait to take FH's last name! Mine is very jewish sounding and people surprisingly mispronounce it all the time. (it starts wwith Wein and people always say it 'ween' instead of 'wine')

His is short and easy and less 'jewish' sounding -I won't sound whiny every time I introduce myself )
