Good for you it's important to love you're ring, you're going to be looking at it for quite some time!

I'm sure you already have a few places to go look but my FMIL is a jeweler of 30 years, works out of her house and can literally get any possible ring you can imagine. She goes by word of mouth only and by far she has the greatest pricest you will ever see. (Totally not even saying that because shes the FMIL because she drives me up a wall lol) But she got my ring and since I've gotten it I have not gone more then 24 hours without recieving at least one compliment!

FH ordered it online from Zales and the diamond quality was really bad.. I tried everything for 3 months to get them to replace it or do something for me and no luck, plus customer service was nasty to me a bunch of times.. so I had to decide to return it.. It was a horrible experience but I'm glad we were able to get his money back and now we can start over :)

Wow, what an awful experience during what is supposed to be the happiest time in your life. Sorry you had to go through that. I'm sure a lot of girls have offered referrals to their jewelers, but I really love who my FH chose to make my ring. He said that she was really great through the entire process, and when I went in to meet her I loved her. She does a lot of custom work, so if you had something particular in mind she might be a good choice. FM me if you want her info.
