this seems to be a lot more common than I thought. I started out with 2 more BM's than I have no for the sames reasons!

Honestly, I'm so much happier not having them. Who wants a BM when they don't have any interest. I don't need a 'dress filler'

This does seem to be common... I am not replacing my BM's though, just adding Junior BM which are family and can't really back out...

i think you have to just remember the role they are supposed to play- AND most importantly, you would ALWAYS rather look at your wedding pictures and think to yourself 'you know, I wish I had asked ____ to be in the bridal party....' instead of looking at them and thinking 'you know, I am so upset that ____ was in the bridal party.'

Because short of airbrushing..lol...you can't take people out of pictures, or out of the memory of your day.

im sorry to hear that :( if they dont answer by today i'd either call them out on it by calling them or just showing up at their house or jut forget them and move on! whoever really cares about you will obviously be a part of your very special day! those are your true friends!

One thing Ive notived already is that peoples tru colors DO show when u are getting married .. FH and I constantly say thank God we r first of all our friends to get married bc we can see who is there n who gives bs excuses n doesnt put any effort

I guess you're not close with his sisters? If he wants them in the wedding so bad he shouldn't mind the sides not being even. 6 & 4 really isn't that bad. Isn't it amazing how it seems like everything having to do with a wedding can be so incredibly stressful? I hope it all works out!
