Just a word of advice....my firend didn't originally ask me to be in her weddin because FH was already in it but then right after one of her bridesmaids backed out I was asked. She insisted that her FH was the one who didn't want to burden me and that she decided to offer me anyways. She said it wasn't about the girl who dropped out. I was touched and I am so glad she asked me! I say go ahead and ask your friends that you wanted. If they are good friends they will understand and be happy you asked!!!

HELP!

I don't know how to email this BM without sounding like a biotch. Though I have every right to be one I rather keep it as civil as possible.

Is this ok?

'It's been 3 days and I have not heard back from you. Based on your lack of interest to even respond to my email I will assume you are no longer going to be a bridesmaid.'

Or should I just say I no longer want you as my BM?

'I am a little disappointed by your lack of response to my email. This is important to me and I don't know how else to take it except to ask you to not be in the wedding party. '

i agree. this is a great response.

don't stress yourself over this. You have enough to worry about without BP drama.

I wouldn't worry about #s being uneven and I also wouldn't ask Fhs sisters if you dont get along w them. you'll be dealing w them far more than FH will.

I am sorry! that sucks! but if these girls aren't interested in you getting married, then its better off not having them in your BP. They aren't true friends!

i completely agree

I really think you need to call her. Maybe she forgot about the email, I always read things but don't respond and they wind up buried in my inbox. If she's not the type of person you can actually call and get a hold of, then she's not the type of person you want being there on your day.
I had trouble reaching one of my BM, she hadn't responded to an email I sent her a few weeks ago. So I texted her hubby, and she emailed me back a day later, appologizing. You never know until you try.
